MGM Studios
The park's original layout mimicked Universal Studios
Hollywood, with a "backstage" tram tour providing
most of the entertainment. A few stage shows and one dark
ride rounded out the attractions. Rumors soon swirled
that Michael Eisner had seen Universal's plans for its
Florida park when he was working at Paramount and lifted
them for Disney-MGM. Whatever the case, Universal abandoned
the tram tour model for USF, opting instead for a more
traditional theme park layout. And within a few years,
Disney-MGM did the same, chopping the tour and loading
the park with popular thrill rides, such as the Twilight
Zone Tower of Terror. |

Animal Kingdom
This park is the best for Disney's Fastpass. A good idea
is to get fastpasses early in the day for the Safaris
and do everything else. Most things at the park do not
have long lines. Your other option is to use the fastpasses
for Kali River Rapids. Also, if you do not want to use
fastpasses, a good time to go on the safaris is in the
morning or around a cloudy/rainy time beause that is the
time that most animals are active. Finally one should
not miss Festival of the Lion King, hailed as one of the
best shows in Disney World! |
