the areas of Covent Garden, Soho, Mayfair and Westminster,
and is where most tourists would like to stay. The central
shopping area of Regent Street, Bond Street and Oxford
Street are in this section as are the attractions of the
National Gallery, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. |

| Belgravia/Knightsbridge is the heart
of fashionable London. Harrods and the shopping area of
Sloane Street are here along with numerous excellent restaurants
and some of the most expensive hotels in the city. South
of Belgravia in Pimlico there are some more affordable
hotels. |

| South Kensington/Earls Court just to
the west of Knightsbridge are popular with visitors because
the hotels are more affordable. There are a number of
attractions in this area, including the Victoria and Albert
Museum and Science Museum. |

| Bayswater/Notting Hill just to the
north of Hyde Park, and west of the Oxford Street shopping
area, has numerous affordable hotels and is a popular
place to stay for visitors. The Saturday antique market
at Portobello Road is in this area. There are numerous
restaurants, and the mainline railway station at Paddington
is close by. |
